So .... Who is Steve Hindon ....

Hello and welcome to my online photography portfolio.

I guess it all started many years ago on a trip to a local air show, being a young man and very keen on gadgets and boys toys I went to see the awesome military fighter displays.I borrowed a 35mm camera, a few rolls of film and a zoom lens and off I went to take some pictures, the sun came out, the planes were amazing and I had an absolute blast.

A few days later I picked up the prints of my day out and began to look through them, although I perhaps didn’t realise it at the time, whilst looking through my pictures I remember paying more attention to how the pictures had been taken and what I had done with the camera, far more than concentrating on  what I had gone there to shoot. This was the day that photography hooked its claws into me.

 

From air shows to motorsport events to weddings and wildlife, taking pictures was now something I wanted to do as much as possible. Starting with entry level equipment I attended  courses and began to understand and learn how to control a camera correctly and its functionality. I soon however reached a point through my eagerness to learn that my camera was not up to doing what I wanted it to do and so it was time for an upgrade.

 

After several years & many upgrades I am now shooting with Professional level equipment & working with design studios, large distribution newspapers and big corporations.

but ....

I will be forever learning & will always be chasing that illusive " perfect shot ".
